Mustang GT automatic transmission bangs into 2nd gear – any shop in Sharjah that knows these?

I’ve got a 2019 Mustang GT with the 10-speed auto and lately it’s been slamming into 2nd gear when downshifting, especially when I’m braking to a stop. No warning lights, but it feels like someone tapped the back of the car. I’ve taken it to two different places in Dubai – one said “normal for these gearboxes” and another wanted to replace the whole valve body for 8k without even scanning it properly.
