I’m honestly stressed out. My 2014 Wrangler JK with the 3.6 has started running hot, especially when I’m stuck in traffic or doing light off road stuff. The coolant reservoir keeps going low even though I’ve topped it up twice in the last month, and I’m not seeing any visible leaks on the ground. There’s no white smoke from the exhaust or milky oil, which gives me some hope, but the coolant smell is pretty strong after driving. A mechanic did a quick pressure test and said it held pressure fine, so he’s confused. I’ve been reading that these Pentastar engines can have head gasket issues without the classic symptoms, and I’m trying to find Mussafah Head Gasket Experts who can actually diagnose it properly without just tearing the engine apart blindly. Has anyone here had a similar experience where the leak was something stupid like a coolant reservoir cap or a small crack in the plastic tank? I really don’t want to spend thousands on a head gasket if it’s something simple, but I also don’t want to keep driving and risk warping the heads. Any advice on what tests to ask for or shop recommendations in the Abu Dhabi area would be a lifesaver right now.
